Vijay Sankalp Yatra

Taking an early lead in upcoming assembly election at Haryana, the BJP state unit marked the beginning of its election campaign with ‘Vijay Sankalp Yatra’ under the able leadership of BJP National President, Sh. Amit Shah at Mahendragarh. 

Held on 14^th August, 2014, the Vijay Sankalp Yatra was addressed by Sh. Amit Shah along with several senior party leaders, where we laid the foundation for BJP’s success by touching on the points affecting all the sections of Haryana.

This was his first address at a public meeting after being crowned as the party’s President, which also underlines the importance of Haryana for the BJP central leadership team.

Praising Haryana for its courage, hard work and natural resources, Mr. Shah appealed to the people to overlook the politics of castism, nepotism and regionalism to join hands with BJP for nationalism which will bring back the lost glory of Haryana.

Sh. Amit Shah claimed that under the regime of Chautala and Hooda, the state had reached to a new low point. The agricultural growth rate is all time low at 3%. There is no curb on rising land prices and corruption.

We appeal to the people of Haryana to shun corruption and embrace Modiji’s dream of ‘Corruption-free, Congress-free India’. We want to come with full force in the state so that centre and state can empower each other mutually and bring back the golden days when Haryana led the nation.

The unprecedented crowd at the rally clearly mandated the mood of Haryana in front of BJP stalwarts like Sh. Amit Shah, Cabinet Ministers Gen.(Retd.) Sh. V.K. Singh, Sh. Krishan Pal Gujjar, Sh. Rao Inderjit Singh among others.

The Vijay Sankalp Yatra is slated to move across the key areas like Rewari, Gurgaon, Mewat, Faridabad and Palwal over a period of 12 days. 

We have strengthened our team by inducting over 40 MLAs, Ex-MPs and leaders of rival parties. With the heavy weights of Haryana politics, viz, former ministers Sh. Chattar Pal, Sh. Harsh Kumar, Ex-MLA Sh. Raj Kumar Balmiki and many more, joining the party, the equation has turned in our favor & has boosted the morale of the party workers.
